Thanks to a grant from Perkins Career and Technical Education, SCC offers a four-segment series titled “In Demand: Men in Nursing.” The percentage of male registered nurses is steadily trending up, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2021, men accounted for 13.3 percent of RNs compared with 8.9 percent in 2011. In Part 4, five South Jersey-based male RNs offer advice to men and women interested in the profession.
