I recently posted a Reel entitled, "Women: I honor you & your superpower."
Men, I want to honor you now...and your superpower.
Btw...these are general principles and most likely will not apply in every specific situation.
In my experience, men have the ability to quickly fix any problem to which they are paying attention.
Men tend to think more compartmentally.
They see things in the moment and as not necessarily connected to any of the surrounding moments--which can provide laser focus. Therefore, this is why...generally speaking..men tend to excel in situations where an important decision needs to be made very quickly or after a lot of focused analysis (military exercises, engineering, construction, automotive repair). This is also why we men tend to fail in seeing the big picture (which is why my wife's superpower is such an incredible blessing to me!).
With this in mind, men, here's what the woman in your life wants you to know...
1. Knowing you can (most times) quickly fix any problem upon which you are focused and to which you are paying attention. You must PAY ATTENTION if there's any hope of the problem in the relationship/home being fixed.
2. If you are not paying attention, the only logical conclusion your partner can make is that you don't care about the problem being fixed--or, more importantly, the person asking you to fix it.
3. Even though, men, you view conversations as problems to be fixed, the woman in your life doesn't need you to fix every problem. She does need you to listen. (Women, this is why a good tool to use in a conversation may be to say, "I don't need you to fix this. I need you to listen.").
