First Amendment – Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
Second Amendment – Right to keep and bear arms.
Third Amendment – No quartering of soldiers in private homes without consent.
Fourth Amendment – Protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
Fifth Amendment – Protection against self-incrimination, double jeopardy, and guarantees due process of law.
Sixth Amendment – Right to a speedy and public trial, impartial jury, to be informed of charges, to confront witnesses, and to have legal counsel.
Seventh Amendment – Right to a jury trial in civil cases.
Eighth Amendment – Protection against excessive bail and fines, and cruel and unusual punishment.
