A Journey Through Texas, Culture, and the Gospel
When most people think of Texas, they picture cowboys, rodeos, and the Bible Belt. Growing up in Houston, I experienced another side of Texas, one built on family, Southern hospitality, and churches that shaped entire communities.
But Houston has changed.
This documentary explores the transformation of one of America's most recognizable Christian regions into one of its most religiously diverse cities. From the historic Imperial Sugar refinery in Sugar Land to Hindu temples, Buddhist centers, Islamic mosques, and the streets of downtown Houston, this film asks a simple but important question:
How should Christians respond?
The answer is not fear.
The answer is not hostility.
The answer is the Gospel.
Drawing parallels between Jonah fleeing from Nineveh and Paul's bold proclamation on Mars Hill, this documentary challenges believers to examine not merely the culture around them, but their own willingness to lovingly proclaim Christ in an increasingly pluralistic world.
Perhaps the greatest danger is not that our culture has changed.
Perhaps the greater danger is that we have remained silent.
