This is an improvised duet with my friend Dazza. We're both playing on MelodyMorph, an iPad app that I'm developing. Dazz is playing bass (the round notes) and I'm playing vibraphone (the triangles). You can see us start with a musical conversation, taking turns constructing some melodic material, and then developing it into a improvised composition. By looking at each other's screens and watching each other's fingers, we can match pitches, anticipate and synchronize.
