In this AU Melody fell for Jane completely, it her first love, both she and Jane are teenagers.
Melody tells all her animal friends about Jane every day, she is daydreaming about their meeting, how she would tell Jane about her feelings, how Jane would accept her love, how they would travel together.
Like in canon Melody doesn't like being a princess, kids in the castle think she is just weird, and Melody has a secret ability she treasures: she can turn into a mermaid twice a week. And she can talk to animals.
Jane lives near the castle and often goes to the sea for a walk, this is how Melody first spotted her. Jane seems so different and serous, yet so special and beautiful, Melody believes Jane would accept and understand her.
Sebastian is against this crazy love, but he keeps the secret and tries to support Melody even if he thinks it's all a bad idea. When Melody and Jane finally meet, how would it go?
