Now known as the Bank of New York Mellon, here's how Stan Freberg sold Mellon Bank Credit Cards back in the 1960s. How nice it is 2 take a piece of plastic and flash it whenever you want to purchase something, on type of an 'honor' system?!? They actually trust that u would pay them back, little by little, competing with their ever-increasing interest rates?!? It in effect could take years, or forever 2 pay back a credit card, but this commercial is far 2 entertaining 2 address those kinda issues within its 0:60 second time frame...
