Melee Rom - I can't link the rom because of legal reasons, but google or ask around for Melee version 1.02!

Wii U Gamecube Controller Adapter - amzn.to/2YuYBYl (Check notes below!)

These are the expensive options and are Nintendo Brand products. These will guarantee the process will be smooth and will work. You can try to look around Amazon/Ebay/Local game stores for cheaper prices. There are a lot of 3rd party products out there that are pretty cheap, but I can't guarantee these will work. If you do decide on 3rd party, let me know if they work for you!

NOTES
*Melee is 1.43 Gigabytes, not 7/8.
*Mayflash Adapter - amzn.to/3fbTf9Z Can be used instead of the Wii U Gamecube Controller Adapter and it's cheaper! Just set it to Wii U mode. I'm unfamiliar with the Mayflash Adapter, but the comments section should be able to help :).
*Don't have any friends and are looking for people to play? Check out this website!

You: Me and my buddy are seeing different things happen on the screen. What gives?
Me: You guys are using different versions of Melee. Make sure you guys are using the same version!
You: I downloaded Zadig version 2.5, is that ok?
Me: Yes, as long as your Gamecube controller is working, you're fine :).
