Since the 2010s, Meghann Riepenhoff (American, b. 1979) has emerged as a leading contemporary photographer for her innovative use of cyanotypes to visualize the environment and humanity’s impact upon it. Go behind the scenes with Riepenhoff and her team as they create Borderwaters (USA/Mexico, 04.23-25.26) for The San Diego Museum of Art. The new work was created in April 2026 and will be on view as part of her first US museum solo exhibition, Meghann Riepenhoff: Waters of the Americas, on view at Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@SDMA) March 6, 2027–September 6, 2027.
