After being sealed by Sentinel Prime within the heart of Cybertron, Megatron's spark remains dormant in his lifeless body. A rogue Autobot realises how unjust his superiors were after a librarian brought the revolutionary's words to light. After singlehandedly defeating Sentinel and the senate's elite guard, he dives into the core of his planet to free the man that inspired him. Only to realise that years of being dormant has corrupted the once peaceful and diplomatic revolutionary with burning hatred as he plotted his revenge against the Cybertronian Senate and the people that failed him.
