I'M BACK. Aaaaand with a huge video. The Eagle Tournament is here, marking the second main event of the game's plot. Pairings are random just like last time, so these are the results I was given:
- BurnerMan, or BurnMan, as the game calls him, has a very simple scenario, in which MegaMan has to go into the Net to put out some flames, just like in the last game with FlameMan's chapter. The problem is BurnerMan himself, as he's a really tough boss, even more considering how underleveled I am at this point of the game.
- Somehow, Roll lost to a Normal Navi on Round 1, so I had to face Flave, and his 'cook Navi' that looks exactly like any other NPC. His scenario has a cooking, timing based mini-game that should give you guys no problems at all. This Normal Navi is really beefed up, so watch out for his obstacle-type chips, and his pretty big pool of HP.
- And finally, I got the 'useful' scenario at the last round, facing WindMan. This is a very simple chapter too, though the minigame at ParkArea can become really frustrating if you get knocked back a few times, random encounters are a pain too, so watch out. As for WindMan, cornering him and using GutsSoul's machine gun will give you a big advantage against his attacks. WindSoul will become available after this fight.
And just like that, the tournament is over. Right before the chapter ends, MegaMan faces LaserMan, a member of Nebula, the Dark Chip Syndicate that keeps getting mentioned throughout the story. This will trigger a fight with GutsManDS, watch out because these 'DarkSoul' Navis will use normal battle chips against you, and even PAs later on.
