A double-track overlay remixes of MM7's first stage theme for Doctor Wily's castle, using the arrangement from the original SNES version and 8-bit demake, overlayed/remixed by me.
I have personal hang-ups with MegaMan 7. I found the shift to 16-bit a bit jarring compared to the Wily Wars interpretation, and this stopped me truly enjoying this game as a kid... but I will NEVER complain about the music, especially the Wily themes.
To this day, I am STUNNED this track never got a re-arrangement in Smash Bros., as it is often touted as one of the best in the classic series. Mega's movelist, assist trophies, custom moves, even the spirits call back to MM7 so many times, yet this gem wasn't a track inclusion?!
I'm shocked, cause it rules.
Original tracks used:
"Wily Fortress Seven (Stage 1 - Entrance)" by Yuko Takehara, Toshihiko Horiyama and Makoto Tomozawa (Rockman 7 - Super Famicom)
Rockman 7 and 8 Famicom OST by Kanrisha
