A double mix of the fourth Town Mission theme - from "Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)" (Sonic Next Gen / Sonic '06 for short) - and Crystal Caves - FlashMan's Stage theme from "MegaMan 2" - remixed/overlayed by me... AGAIN?
Can you believe the original mash-up is over 10 years old? Heck, feels like revisiting this is 3 years overdue! But hey, finally revisiting it, 13 years later TO THE DAY!
The idea for this mix came to me during one of the LPerLeague's recordings of Sonic Next Gen, where I noticed a few melody similarities between the town mission theme playing and FlashMan's stage theme from MegaMan 2.
And for this revised mix, I figured we needed some more of that excellent Wily Wars bassline. Beautiful!
