Welp, after getting my 43:55 PB, I was watching Domalix play and someone who hadn't even finished a run mentioned learning Iceless.
I decided to give it a shot, and sure enough, I managed to get it relatively quickly. Granted, I still can't do it consistently enough to actually learn the Iceless route and do it in a run yet. But it's yet another badass technique added to my bag of tricks that I'll begin practicing until I can do it live.
