Trinitro Man is kind of annoying because he has a hitbox on the top of his head that if you hit twice, he will instantly kill you. It has more priority than the one on his body, so if you hit him high with a charge shot, it will trigger the head hitbox. The strat is to stay in the center as much as possible so you can dodge his Nitro Blasts, but get low so you can actually hit him. Fortunately, the hitbox for his Nitro Blast is not as tall as it looks, so you can jump over shots even though it may look like you should be getting hit.
