The time-traveling Dr. Wily and his mechanical minions are on the loose and Mega Man has to stop them! In Mega Man: The Wily Wars, you play through the original three Mega Man titles remastered for the original SEGA Genesis®/Mega Drive.
For this release, our programmers were able to make some improvements to areas of the game where slowdown can be problematic. This version includes:
- Optimized certain functions to reduce slowdowns such as sprite processing and collision processing during gameplay.
- Yellow Devil MK2 contains new function programming for drawing sprites which reduces slowdown.
- Added a code to toggle the score display for boss battles in Mega Man 1. Without the score display, some additional slowdown can be alleviated.
All other areas of the game have been left untouched from the original.
