The AJ Star involved beating Acid Ace BB and Dread Joker RR,
In the DS game this was nigh impossible as you had to complete multiple Wi-Fi battles without quitting or someone rage quitting on you. Then you would encounter them randomly.

In the Starforce Legacy Collection they made them set encounters in Planet FM Astro Wave 3. You can refight them at any time by simply transing out and back in.
