Cygnus Round is an incredibly powerful bonus weapon that bounces off walls and targets enemies. It freezes enemies in place for a very brief moment of time, and creates an explosion upon contact with a viable projectile.
By holding down prior to firing, a Temporal Cygnus Round is placed, increasing the weapon's special meter and consuming more weapon energy than normal. The speed of the round, when it fires, is greatly increased, and the explosions it creates in this state can chain to other projectiles. The temporal round can be set off early by pressing up prior to firing, at the cost of some of the weapon's special meter being filled proportionate to how much time was left before the round fired on its own.
If the weapon's special meter is filled, the weapon overheats, decreasing the weapons speed and damage output, and nullifying its explosive capabilities.
Despite the weapon's immense power, careless use of it or its alternate fire could be disastrous. Use with care.
