So once you start doing the second lap of Grand Prix, they start making things harder. Now at the start of each race, the enemy will have boost for an extended period of time, and you have to play catch up once the boost wears off. Not only that, but now at random points, you will be challenged to a race by members of the Black Troop, elite versions of the NPC racers who are incredibly fast. But each time you beat one, you unlock an Extra car part that is hidden in one of the racetracks.
