If somebody made a panic attack to MP3 converter it would spit out the soundtrack to The Simpsons arcade game. Its got a lot of frantic, loosely-defined songs, and I think that transfers well to an NES format.
This was a fun one to do. I havent done DPCM orchestra hits like this before and it was pretty cool to work with.

So this started out as being vaguely inspired by Green Grass Gradation from Mega Man ZX until it morphed into something else completely idk. I originally hated it but after spending a LOT of time tweaking things last night, I finally think its almost good.

Yet another instance of me covering a song because it was stuck in my head.
For those who may not know: This is the prototype version of Carnival Night Zones music from a prerelease build of the game before the Jackson/Buxer tunes we know from the final game were implemented. This version of the song (as well as the ones for Ice Cap and Launch Base) was used in the Sonic & Knuckles PC Collection, but it wasnt until relatively recently that it was discovered these songs were originally planned for the Genesis version all along.
(On another note, I finally got a new computer which is much more robust at recording video, so enjoy the 60fps!)

You would think this song translates really well to 8-bit (and for the most part, it does), but its also got a lot of weird textural stuff going on that was kind of challenging to transcribe.

Wanted to get out of my musical comfort zone a little so I made a song in 10/8 time that also incorporates neapolitan chords. Its still in C minor though, so not THAT far out of my comfort zone. :P
Im fairly happy with how it came out, maybe some things could be improved with regards to transitions, but overall not bad.
