I really struggled emotionally post birth. For those who havent followed our journey, I'm a mum to 3 boys. Samuel (5) Jackson (stillborn) and our newest addition Baby Jacob. Between the 3 boys we also had 5 miscarriages.
Day 1 ppst birth absolutely crushed me when Jakey was taken about an hour after birth to the NICU and spent his first night away from me and Matt had to go home to look after Samuel.. I was alone and a sobbing mess..
Day 2 was better, Jakey came back to our room after lunch, Samuel got to visit his baby brother for the first time.. It was so perfect! I couldnt have been more proud to be the Boys Mama..
Day 3.. was another hard day.. alone in the hospital.
Day 4 (Friday) we got to finally go home after another morning being monitored in the NICU. I cant even begin to tell you how it feels to walk out of those hospital doors with a baby in your arms. I've waited 5 years to do this, and it was as magical as it looks when you see other Mama's taking their babies home.
Once again thank you so much to everyone for taking time out of your day to watch some of ours and for your constant love, kind words, encouragement, thoughts and prayers. We are so thankful for all of you xo
