Kerrie Ann Allen Brown is a retired Doctor of Optometry and mother of three boys. Find out how she completed The Knitting Guild Association's Master Hand Knitting Certification course in one year.

She lives in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her husband John, who is a Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

She takes great joy in researching fibers and knitting techniques and also in learning about the culture and history of knitting, particularly in Scandinavian countries, Iceland, and the United Kingdom.
