Meet the January 2026 WMHT-FM Classical Student Musician of the Month: violinist Magdalena Calabria. Magdalena is a student at the Emma Willard School in Troy, NY. She was nominated by her teacher, Helena Bailey. Magdalena plays the 1st movement of Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole. Hear her feature on WMHT FM 89.1/88.7 Friday mornings just after
7am and Saturday evenings after 6pm in January.
