Ben, better known as Basically Benski, is a 3D printing creator and the person behind Benski Builds. What started with his first printer grew into a family business making everything from fun collectibles and cosplay pieces to practical and custom prints. Along the way, he’s shared the experiments, lessons, and occasional mistakes that come with turning a hobby into a livelihood. 🖨️
Benski also co-hosted the *Basically Us* podcast with Brady, bringing his personality and love of conversation beyond the print shop. His motto, “Mistakes Make Magic,” says a lot about the way he approaches making and the unexpected turns that got him here.
Tonight we’ll be talking about how Benski got into 3D printing, building Benski Builds, selling prints online and at events, creating content while running a business, and what he’s learned from making the leap from hobbyist to full-time maker.
