“You might be thinking, ‘Oh no… not another new battery.’” I thought the same thing at first.
But after meeting the Renon team at the Zonna Energy Conference—and wrestling a few 300-pound batteries. I was ready to try something that’s a little easier to handle.
We were introduced to the Renon Xtreme Series LV through Sol-Ark’s partner program in January 2025, and this is my first opportunity to put it to the test. In this video, I’m walking through the unboxing, first impressions, and setup of a 4-module stack, which has just been approved to go up to 8 high.
We’re installing this system in a nearby home to offset demand charges using just the battery and generator charging—no solar panels (yet). Solar may come later, but for now, it’s all about testing a smart storage-first strategy.
