The Panther was one hell of a weapon, but was plagued by technical problems from it's rushed production and was not produced in sufficient numbers to turn the tide of the war.

Some of it's most impressive systems included revolutionary armor concepts and 'nicht jager' or night hunter, one of the first uses of infrared night vision in war.
