The female Longmouth Pipefish (Microphis heterosoma) deposits her eggs into a specialized brood pouch on the underside of the male's tail, where he protects and incubates them until they're ready to hatch. It's one of the most fascinating examples of paternal care you'll find in the freshwater aquarium hobby.
