The EMG JMaster™ Pickup is inspired by the look, feel, and sound of classic, time-tested pickup design.
As part of the Retro Active Lineup, the pickups feature Alnico 5 rods and wide stacked coils for a rich and balanced single coil tone. Like all EMG Active Pickups, the JMaster™ pickups are free of hum and incredibly easy to install.
The pickguard system features a powerful set of master EQ controls on the upper horn of the instrument.
The beloved SPC Control packs a punch with its mighty mid-boost at the turn of a dial. Or flip the switch to turn it into a clean boost across the full frequency spectrum- giving you up to 12dB on tap.
The EXG Control simultaneously boosts the low and high frequencies giving your instrument a liquid tone with full bottom end and enhanced highs.
Before Purchasing your JMaster™ Pickguard System, please check the routing on your instrument to see if it can accommodate the pickguard without modification to the pickguard or upper horn controls.
If your instrument cannot accommodate the Pickguard System, please consider the JMaster™ Set, where you can purchase the standalone pickup set to add to your instrument.
