Meet Chris and Gab Moore. Inspired by the ocean and rural living, a sea change and love for beer prompted the couple to open Sailors Grave Brewing, East Gippsland’s newest brewery, housed in the abandoned Orbost Butter and Produce Factory - about 370 kms east of Melbourne.
These beers are truly inspired by their natural environment and beautifully crafted with care. Incorporating indigenous botanicals picked in the bush, salt, weed and sea life harvested from river and ocean, fruits, grains & produce from local farms & orchards and wild yeasts from their backyard.
A treacherous cove at Cape Conran is the inspiration for the name and the spirit of Sailor’s Grave Brewing, one of Gippsland's newest brewery and hottest new local favourite.
