Meet Professor Ivan Gaskell. Faculty member at the BGC since 2012, Ivan's research and teaching sits at the intersection of diverse interests including history, art history, anthropology, and philosophy. He teaches a wide range of courses from "Curatorial Practice and American Art at the Metropolitan Museum" to "Oceania: Art and Material Culture". In his own words, his "principal scholarly concern is to mobilize non-written traces of the past to illuminate aspects of the lives of human actors that would otherwise remain obscure."
