Get to know the four crew members who will be the first to travel beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972.
The Artemis 2 mission will see NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen spend 10 days traveling around the Moon before returning to splashdown off the coast of San Diego, California. The quartet will launch onboard the Orion spacecraft, 'Integrity,' atop a Space Launch System rocket. Liftoff of the Artemis 2 mission is currently scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, at 6:24 p.m. EDT (2224 UTC).
Each day at the same time as T-0 on launch day, we'll introduce you to another member of the flight crew, leading up to their pre-launch arrival in Florida, currently scheduled for Friday, March 27. Rounding out the group is fighter pilot, test pilot, and mission commander Reid Wiseman. This will be his first mission to space.
