About Lucie Laflamme:
Professor of injury epidemiology and prevention and Head of the research group on Injuries' Social Aetiology and Consequences (ISAC). Vast experience in injury studies and have extensively published on the topic of social inequalities in injuries, in particular among children.

Current research projects deal with:
- mobile telemedicine and emergency care of burn injury in resource-poor settings (Cape Town, South Africa),
- the prevention of accidents and injuries on the Road (PAIR) through speed reduction in Oman
- medication and injuries among older people.
