Earlier this week, Google announced that it has acquired Boston Dynamics, one of the world's leading robotics and engineering companies. This is Google's eight robotics acquisition over the past six months.

Boston Dynamics is best known for some of the most incredible (or terrifying, depending on your perspective) robots out there.
