Beni seemed too good to be true: a two-legged robot companion that can jump, flip, and autonomously film while following you! But I spent hours with the crowdfunded robot, and while its creators have work to do, it's already a seriously fun remote-control toy that can automatically recover from crashes. It's on Kickstarter today for around $600, with an $800 MSRP.
