Respiratory solutions demand the highest level of reliability — because failures aren't an option. Microchip's BLDC Motor Control with Graphic Display for Medical Respiratory Machines delivers a complete, ready-to-evaluate hardware stack designed for ventilators, CPAP, oxygen concentrators, and other life-critical airflow applications.

The demo system features three integrated boards: a bright 10-inch LVDS capacitive touchscreen driven by the ATMXT1066TD maXTouch® controller, the PMSM and BLDC Motor Control System Development Board, and the SAMA7D65 Curiosity Kit for graphics control — all enclosed and ready to run.

At the core of the system, a BLDC blower motor pairs with Sensirion's SFM3xxx flow sensor to measure airflow, pressure, and temperature in real time — ensuring safe, accurate respiratory delivery. All data streams live to the graphic display, giving engineers full visibility into system performance.

Key capabilities include:
✅ BLDC Motor Sensorless Field-Oriented Control (FOC)
✅ Real-time RPM, flow rate, and pressure monitoring
✅ Integrated Sensirion SFM3xxx airflow sensing
✅ SAMA7D65 Curiosity Kit for rapid prototyping of graphical displays
✅ Complete hardware stack — reduce design time and speed time to market
