Recently a large private hospital in the country made a call for blood donations since their blood bank was running low. I saw the comments on the post about it on Facebook and was surprised with how misinformed people actually are about blood donations and transfusions.
So I'm going to talk what happens to donated blood and why patients apparently have to "buy" it!
