Ensuring the quality and durability of packaging is crucial for maintaining product integrity from production to delivery.

Whether it's the plastic bottles that hold our beverages, the metal cans that preserve our food, or the cardboard boxes that protect our shipments.
Packaging testing is the method used to simulate and measure the force exerted on packaging containers during production, filling, capping, storage and transport. The testing is used as a quality control parameter and is typically performed on plastic containers, metal cans, glass jars and cardboard boxes. Even though there are a myriad of sizes and shapes of containers, the topload test procedure still applies the same principles to determine:
• The force when the container is compressed to a certain displacement.
• The deflection when the container is compressed to a known force.
• The point of deformation or failure when a container is compressed.
This live webinar will address all three types of tests using a motorised topload tester.

What you’ll learn in the webinar and live demonstration:
• Overview of packaging testing
• Introduction to test types - Topload, Edge Crush, Carton Crush
• Selecting ideal testers
• Selecting ideal test fixtures
• Factors that affect repeatability and consistency

Who should watch?
Manufacturing, Production and Quality managers and engineers involved in:
• Plastics and packaging
• Blow-molding
• Can and metal container manufacturing
• Bottling and beverage production
• Medical and pharmaceutical container manufacturing
• Corrugated cardboard manufacturing
