This video compares the 1995 DOS version with the TITANIUM Edition.
MechWarrior 2, amazing graphics at the time in 1995 was released in numerous versions for many graphics cards such as 3DFX / PowerVR / S3 Virge / ATI Rage / Matrox Mys, etc.

MW2 Titanium version is a big step forward in graphics, but ironically I think the dull graphics of MW2 DOS version go well with the music. In particular, I don't like Titanium's Sunny sky texture.
Anyway, MW2 Titanium graphics are feels like Prototype of Heavy Gear 1.

Additionally, weapon balance has been adjusted so I think Easy difficulty on Titanium and Medium difficulty on the DOS version feel similar.

I remember playing the MechWarrior 2 demo on my crappy computer around 1999, which was hard to run the MechWarrior 3 demo. It was a time when I couldn't buy or enjoy the games I wanted to play. 😭
