Sooooo... it's been a minute!
For those of you curious, yes, I'm still on break... I'm still really not sure when I'll be coming back. I might talk about it in another video.
But hey, FNAF: Security Breach is out (has been for a bit) and while it's definitely not perfect in any way, I did like it enough to try writing a song inspired by it.
I chose to use a somewhat glam-rock inspired sound for the song (mostly in the synths I included in the instrumentation) since that fits the game pretty well, and mixed it together with my usual traditional modern rock/metalcore sound.
Another thing is that this is my first song featuring real guitar! However, I used a mixture of real guitar and simulated guitar in this song. While all of the rhythm guitar except for the verse riff was actually played and recorded by me on real guitar, the guitar solos (and the aforementioned verse riff) were done with simulated guitar. I had to work with what I've got here, along with my mostly subpar guitar skills. :/
Either way, I hope you enjoy the song. I put a lot of work into it.
