Out of all the Mario game types out there, I think the Mario Kart trilogy has the most toxic fanbase since they like to praise the Mario Kart games like they are their lord and savior so much to the point where they look at other racing games with different characters that are actually good as well, and still call them “Mario Kart Ripoffs” and that is one of my biggest pet peeves about the Mario fandom, they never give other kart racing games a chance when they are actually good and will be bash them for quote unquote “copying the formula” when they do many different stuff with them, like completely different settings, different items that aren’t like the items from Mario Kart at all with maybe a few kinda being like them like with the boosts and items that you throw at the opponent, but they aren’t shells or mushrooms and could be different objects as well, besides Mario Kart is kinda of overrated in my opinion as I don’t completely get the hype of those games, I do like tho play them a lil bit, but there just not as fun as “Mario Golf”, “Mario Sports Mix” “Mario Baseball” and “Mario Soccer” Which I enjoy playing those more than “Mario Kart” as for the other kart games, I always give them a chance and if I enjoy the, I actually do play them from time to time and say they are good or decent games, some I could even say are better than “Mario Kart” like “Disney Speedstorm”, “DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing”, “Crash Team Racing”, “Cars The Video Game” and the best example, “Sonic Racing Crossworlds” (which was the first ever time I preferred a Sonic game over a Mario game).
Moral of this: I always give other Kart racing games a chance, if they are bad, then I don’t play the and stay away from them, but if they are actually good, I play them a lot and give them a big chance, not just call them “Mario Kart Ripoffs” and just worship the Mario Kart games like they are the next god or something.
So yeah, Mario Kart fanboys, go take your Mario Kart worshipping and different Kart Racing Game bashing elsewhere because I will not have it here!
