Approaching a roundabout, I am likely to get to the roundabout at the same time as following traffic, creating conflict as we enter the RAB at the same time.
Perth drivers are incapable of looking & planning ahead, so I get into lane early to prevent this from happening.
The bin truck driver behind was infuriated I was not in the "bike lane"* and on his road!
He was so incensed he stopped longer at the intersection that he needed to to spit his apple out his mouth to yell at me.
He went out of his way to cause his own delay.
He also intentionally blocked the shoulder before we got to the lights, but changed his mind before I caught up.
*This is not a bike lane. It does not have a painted bike symbol on it as he claimed (this has no legal meaning anyway). It is a road shoulder, and no one is required to use it. Even if it was, I'd do the same again, because it's not safe to use.
