SCOTTVILLE -- The students of Mason County Central Schools have been celebrating homecoming spirit week. Today's theme was Farmer Day which ended with the traditional tractor parade. High school students showed off their agricultural vehicles in a parade that took them to Scottville Elementary (lower elementary) then to the middle school, upper elementary and high school where the entire student body watched the parade.
Friday will be Blue & Gold Day celebrating the school colors. The homecoming parade will be Friday, beginning at 5 p.m. The parade will start at the intersection of Main and First streets, north to Beryl Street then west to Spartan Community Field where the varsity football team will take on Hesperia beginning at 7 p.m.
The homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime.
