Especially for band keyboarders, it's important to have an "authentic" sounding piano patch. Now, do the Roland MC-101 pianos sound authentic? Well, I can't answer that, because everyone has a different idea of what an authentic piano sounds like. This is one of the MC-101's acoustic piano patches called "nice piano", playing a MIDI version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Me personally thinks that it is actually quite a "nice" sounding piano, although I'm more of a synth guy and do not have any expertise to judge that kind of thing. What do YOU think?
