MARK HAWKINS - Native American Flute, Droning and Sound, and PATTI BROUSSARD on Array Mbira. The story of The Little Drummer Boy has been cherished by many through out the years. In this video, we bring the Little Drummer Boy to present, thru the eyes of Jonas as he awaits a special package so he too can bring his gift to the newborn King.
A little history of this Christmas Classic. "The Little Drummer Boy" was originally called "Carol of the Drums" because of its repeated "pa rum pum pum pum". It's still not certain who wrote the song but it is known that the lyrics are based on an old Czech Carol. I am actually of Czech decent myself! My grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and I can vividly remember hearing them speak Czech on the phone while I was visiting. Anyway, my hope is that this music, this video, brings you a smile and touches your heart, as Jonas, Our own Little Drummer Boy, and Adysen, our sweet little vocalist, share their hearts.
