Mazda Motor Corporation runs the Hiroshima Plant, a car production facility in Aki, Minami, Hiroshima, Japan. The complex is made up of two main components: the headquarters in the adjacent Ujina District and the main factory in Aki District. Before the Hofu Plant opened in 1982, it was Mazda's only car-assembling facility in Japan. Within the facility is Mazda's own museum, which features some of Mazda's classic vehicles as well as its current and upcoming models.

Plants I and II make up the plant complex (officially "U1" and "U2" for their Ujina location). The entire complex is 1.69 km2 (420 acres) in size, comprising the main office and a neighboring port.
In November 1966, Ujina 1 debuted.

The engine facility at Ujina 2 began operations in December 1964, and the present vehicle assembly plant did the same in December 1972.
