This started about 5-ish years ago as a complete accident but figured Id put them all together in a video! Thanks to all the friendly commenters over the years whove kept me going, theres a mini thank you at the end :)
Disclaimers: The reason this is split into two parts is because it will probably take another 5 years to do the rest and it was worth having something for everyone now. The Full OST definition Im rolling with will not involve every single track, for example I deem most of the Encounter themes irrelevant in this context except for the key ones you hear a lot. Its not worth a full transcription for tracks that people only remember the first 2 seconds of in my opinion. If you have any particular requests for the second video that Im likely to skip, comment it and Ill add it to the list! Ive gone with calling it Ruby & Sapphire rather than Emerald because there are some tracks in the 2nd half of the OST which I wont be doing, like the frontier themes etc. The gameplay is from Emerald though.
