Today I'm reviewing the Maybelline Moisturizing Serum Lipstick in shade 001 Crop Top, and unfortunately… I have some feelings about it.

Maybelline describes this lipstick as offering 8-hour plumping moisture and calls it a hydrating serum lipstick with hyaluronic acid. As someone with extremely dry lips who is constantly looking for genuinely moisturizing lip products, I was VERY intrigued.

Unfortunately, my experience was… not quite what I expected. Is this actually a moisturizing serum lipstick, or is it just a normal drugstore lipstick with some very fancy marketing?
