Monster Fantasy put out a Q&A addressing the Monster Hunter animation controversy and their response was that "we understand some of the combat may remind players of Monster Hunter." They are the same animations. Not reminiscent. Not similar. The same. They addressed it without actually saying anything and I think if they want to be taken seriously by the audience they are targeting, they really need to get some of their own sauce lol.
