Jocelyn was a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding this weekend.
At the foot of the altar, the young couple professed their love and commitment to one another.
Jocelyn’s parents have been married for more than 30 years; they continue to live out their vows each day– especially now as her dad awaits the test results regarding his cancer.
We can share a cup of water with a friend on a hot day as a gesture of love. An aging spouse may help her sick husband to sip water in his hospital bed. From His Heart, Jesus pours out streams of living water to quench our thirst– thirst for life, thirst for love, thirst for relationship with Him.
Jocelyn led us in a reflection of Mother Mary at the foot of the cross, as we pondered the Sorrowful Mystery of the crucifixion. Mary is our mother. She lives out her commitment to us, standing by our side each day. She never abandons her Son in his time of suffering; she will never abandon us.
