Hello friends!
When I unboxed this kit originally, I really wasn't sure if I would use the InstaAlbum or not. But after I did my first page I was looking at the papers and realized that since the kit came with a 6x6" pad and not 12x12" papers, the mini album really probably really easy and fun to make with this kit. I pulled out my LifePrint mini printer and printed photos from the last 2 weeks or so of Calen and I at the pool. We have an agreement... if he's done with his homework by the time I get home from work and the weather is nice, I'll take him to the pool for 1 1/2 hours before dinner. You know... homework has been done every night before I get home - Mom win!!
I have only made a handful of mini albums in my past, but I really feel like they are no different than Project Life - they are just small scrapbook pages. I split this album project into two sections - primarily because I didn't have all the photos I wanted to capture (like Calen in his goggles and Calen doing a handstand in the pool), but it does help keep the video from being like an hour long as well!
I went ahead and shared the pictures of the cover of the book as well since I covered them myself. They come in the kraft color which you could leave as is, but being that the album is so bright and colorful I didn't feel the kraft matched the feeling of the rest of the album.
